Our preschool program sets little learners up for success as they develop confidence and social and emotional skills, as well as establish a strong academic foundation that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond.
See if our values align. Download our Preschool Readiness Guide and learn more about our preschool program.
You’ll read about the benchmarks that indicate your child is ready for classroom learning, how you can help foster and nurture that readiness, and what you and your little one can expect in the preschool environment at Columbia Academy.
2. Experience the Columbia Academy difference by scheduling a tour.
We offer prospective students and families the opportunity to tour our campuses throughout the year, summers included. Families can schedule individual tours, which typically begin around 10 a.m.* and last approximately 30 minutes. On your tour, you’ll get to:
- Meet with an administrator one-on-one
- Walk-through our classrooms and see how our students experience joyful learning
- Ask our dedicated teachers any questions you might have about instructional methods, schedules, or policies
*Pick up an information packet with additional application and enrollment details. Schedule an in-person or virtual tour by calling 410-312-5233 or emailing email@example.com.
You can also schedule an in-person or virtual Zoom tour with our admissions team during which you can walk through our school building, see the classrooms and playground, and ask questions. Families can also attend a Virtual Information Session, which provides a detailed overview of our programs, curriculum, and school events. If you can’t make it for a tour or information session, watch our campus preview!

Columbia Academy Preschools operate on a continuous enrollment basis. Below are some frequently asked questions about continuous enrollment.
What is continuous enrollment?
Once families have completed enrollment they will be automatically enrolled for the following school year, unless they notify us otherwise. Continuous enrollment means families won’t have to re-enroll every year, and current families will have a guaranteed placement each school year. *When moving from our preschool program to our Elementary and Middle School, there is a separate application process. Our preschool families receive priority enrollment at our Elementary and Middle School before enrollment opens to the general public.
How does continuous enrollment help you? Continuous enrollment simplifies the re-enrollment process. By opting into continuous enrollment, there is no need to reapply year after year; your child will have a spot in the next grade level unless you notify the school otherwise.
How does continuous enrollment make our learning community stronger?
By ensuring we know our enrollment numbers early we can plan instructional programs more effectively, hire the most qualified staff, and build an even stronger academic program.
