The Preschool at Maple Lawn is part of Columbia Academy, which offers a strong academic foundation for students from Preschool through Grade 8. The Maple Lawn location is one of four preschools within the Columbia Academy system. When your child enters Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten, they join other grades at our Main Campus on Old Columbia Road in Columbia, MD.
Maple Lawn uses the same curriculum as other preschools in our system, but Maple Lawn also offers:
- A custom-built facility, designed especially for our youngest learners to run, climb, and explore
- A fun farm theme throughout the building
- Multiple playgrounds so each age group can play and learn
- Tadpoles, which is software that makes it easy to share photos and updates with parents
- A multipurpose room for days that students can’t go outside
- Before and after school care, along with busing to Fulton Elementary School
- A key code entry system that only allows those with authorized access to come into the school
